GENERAL:

  • Does Lone Fir have parking? 

    • Neither Lone Fir nor surrounding businesses have dedicated parking, but there is plenty of street parking in the area

  • Do you have showers?

    • We do not have showers, but we do have dressing rooms with many amenities to help freshen up after a workout, including wet wipes, deodorant, shoe spray, hair pins, hair ties, and flossers.

  • Can I schedule a tour before I try out your services? 

    • Yes! We offer scheduled tours throughout the week. Click here to schedule a tour now. 

ABOUT CLASSES:

  • What is the cancellation policy for classes and open gym?

    • Members can early cancel class and open gym up to 12hrs before the start of the booking.

    • Out of respect for trainers and other members, no shows (being absent for a class or open gym you have booked) and late cancellations (cancelling class or open gym less than 12hrs before they start) will incur a penalty:

    • In the case of unlimited group training memberships and unlimited open gym memberships, the penalty is $10

    • In the case of 8/monthly group training memberships, 4/monthly open gym memberships and all class packs, the credit will be deducted from your account

  • Which classes would be good for someone just getting started with working out?

    • We recommend starting with a Fundamentals session first, to assess form and get guidance on class recommendations if someone is just returning to or getting started for the first time working out. Classes that would be generally good to begin with are Yoga, Stretch, Jacked, or Jacked+Burn. Classes that may be best to try after building a foundation for fitness are Gainz and Burn, these are very challenging classes. 

  • How many people can I expect to be in classes?

    • We have a cap of up to 12-18 people depending on the class format, average class numbers are usually 6-9, so our trainers are able to offer personalized help, adjustments and attention where required. 

  • What if there is something I can’t do in the class?

    • All of our instructors are trained to provide modifications to tailor the workouts to their abilities. 

  • What if I leave something in the studio, where is the “Lost and Found”?

    • You can find forgotten belongings in the lockers located in the main studio lobby!

  • What should I bring to class with me?

    • We recommend bringing a water bottle and a sweat towel. The studio provides sanitizing towels and spray for weights and equipment. 

  • Do you have showers?

  • What is Open Gym?

    • When you sign up for an Open Gym session, you get to do your own workout in the main class room at the reserved time. Members can utilize all equipment and do a workout of their choosing. Members have access to on-demand open gym workouts, workouts provided by their personal trainer or the open gym workouts posted on the chalkboard at the front of the main class room.

  • What is the difference between a package and a membership?

    • Memberships are monthly recurring charges whereas a package is a single purchase. Additionally, monthly memberships come with many perks whereas the packages only come with the allotted classes.

    • Credits included in your monthly membership must be used up by the end of the month, while classes (and open gym sessions) in packs expire after 3 months (for most class packs) or 6 months (for packs of 20 and above).

ABOUT PERSONAL TRAINING:

  • What is the cancellation policy?

    • Members and training pack holders can early cancel personal training sessions up to 24hrs before the start of the booking with no penalty.

    • For no shows and late cancellations within 24hrs of the session, the session credit will be deducted from your account.

  • If I have to cancel within the 24 hour window, how should I do this?

    • If you have to cancel within 24 hours of your session time, it is best to contact the studio directly. Feel free to respond to the appointment confirmation email or by emailing studio@lonefir.fitness. Trainers are unable to cancel appointments on the Momence schedule without approval. 

  • Can I book sessions online?

    • Yes! You can book with a trainer online here. However, the online booker only allows bookings up to 7 days in advance. If you would like to book a recurring appointment, contact studio@lonefir.fitness or have your trainer book your sessions for the requested amount of time. 

  • How soon can I book an appointment?

    • Sessions cannot be booked online or through the studio within 24 hours of the session time without getting approval from the trainer first. However, we will always do our best to accommodate and will reach out to get this approved when requested. 

  • What is the difference between a package and a membership?

    • Credits included in your monthly membership must be used up by the end of the month, while sessions in packs expire after 12 months.

  • What if I have a package of personal training sessions but I want to do more open gym sessions? 

    • Open Gym monthly add-ons are available for these clients. We offer unlimited Open Gym access to package holders for $40/month. Just reach out to studio@lonefir.fitness to have this added to your account. If you would just like to pay as you go with open gym, you can book $10 drop-in Open Gym passes here.

  • Can I bring someone to one of my sessions?

    • Absolutely! We charge a $15 fee to bring a buddy to a private session, and we kindly ask for 24 hours notice to make sure there is available space.

  • Does Lone Fir Fitness allow freezes on memberships?

    • Unfortunately, we do not allow freezes on memberships. However, in approved cases, we can cancel and later reinstate memberships at the grandfathered rate. If you’d like to request approval for a membership break, please reach out to studio@lonefir.fitness

  • Can I work with more than one trainer?

    • Yes, you absolutely can. We keep and share workout logs with the entire team so that trainers can collaborate and program accordingly.
